More About Riley.....

Riley has had a very successful Puppy and Junior career, culminating in the Dog CC award at Crufts 2011. His second CC, with Best of Breed, came at the Dachshund Club Championship Show in November 2011. His crowning CC came at the Dachshund Club 2012, with Best of Breed, under breed specialist judge Nora Price. He is an Irish Junior Champion and also has 8 Reserve CC's.

*****At Southern Counties the team achieved even more success. Jas was Best Bitch and Best of Breed, Riley was Best Dog and Candy Sunshine was Reserve Best Bitch. Thanks to judge Jenny Dove!

Above is Riley posing, ready for Crufts 2013, where he was 2nd in a super strong Open class, beating Champions and International Champions. Riley was awarded another Reserve CC at the Wire Haired Dachshund Club Championship Show 2013, alongside his daughter Candy who was Best of Breed!!!!

The dogs make excellent pets as well as show dogs. In addition, they love to use their brains, working and learning. They are all training for the FCI Working Test. Here they are going through their paces. Riley is not just a pretty face, below he is tracking a cold hare scent and Mandy had to run to keep up with his nose!
